Game 3: Captain Morgans 2, Gil Fever 2

Another tie game this week. Reigning champions Captain Morgans tied Gil Fever 2-2.

Jason Schroeder scored two goals for Gil Fever, with both goals coming off of crosses from Bradley Whatshisface. Nick Swaim and Chris Nelson scored for Captain Morgans.

Sureshanks vs Captain Morgans

A star was born in Tuesday game pitting Steve Mckagan's Sureshanks vs Dave Loan's Captain Morgans.

The teams were evenly matched through 35 minutes of play, with neither team managing to find the back of the net. First time soccer player Rob Jordan came into the second half determined to win it for his team.

He nailed two shots in the second half, both on fast breaks, leaving the defenders in the dust.

Sureshanks defeated Captain Morgans 2-0 and Rob Jordan is now tied for the Golden Boot with Jack and Jessie.

First Coed Game!

The first COED game organized by NMIFA will be tonight at 5:20 at the airport field.

The Fiesta Dread Pirates, captained by Yosh Gabaldon and Dale Roberts, will take the pitch against Wild Bill's, captained by the feared dynamic duo of Lindsay and Glen.

The second game is tomorrow night, same time; same place. Brad & Angelo's Guns & Roses will take on the Captain Morgan Team.
